Legal Pricing

All new clients receive a FREE 30-minute consultation by phone.  In addition, we offer FLAT-FEE pricing for Uncontested Divorces and Estate Planning matters.

Divorce and Family Law

Uncontested Divorces: Start at $500.00*

We offer this price to clients who have no minor children from their current marriage, no property subject to division, and where neither spouse will be paying alimony to the other.  For uncontested divorces where a more comprehensive separation agreement is required, our flat fee ranges from $750 to $1,000.*

Contested Divorce, Custody, and Support Actions:

Unfortunately, these matters do not readily lend themselves to an accurate estimation of the time and money required for their resolution. Expenses related to making an appearance in a case, litigation, discovery, and office actions can be particularly hard to estimate until speaking to the client about their particular problem and goals for resolution.  After your initial consultation, we will provide you with a price quote so that you can make a decision on whether or not you want to go forward with our representation.

Reduced Fee / Limited Assistance Representation

We offer reduced-fee representation to clients whose household income is less than $30,000 per year.  Limited Assistance Representation (LAR) is an option for people who either can’t afford full-service representation or can afford it but want to retain more personal control over their case. With LAR, self-represented litigants can retain an attorney for specific, limited services, tailored to the needs and concerns of the client. These limited services may include advice or coaching, document review or preparation, and/or court appearances.

During your free consultation, we will provide you with an up-front, fixed or retainer price quote for your reduced-fee and/or limited assistance representation.

*Please note that these fees do not include any out-of-pocket expenses (such as filing fees or court costs), which must also be paid in full as they are incurred. We will work with you throughout your representation in order to keep these expenses as low as possible.

Prenuptial Agreements:

The cost of a prenuptial agreement will be based upon the complexity of the couple’s finances and the amount of negotiation necessary to reach an agreement.  There may be additional costs if it is necessary to hire an appraiser to value a business, collectible property (such as art), or real estate.
